If I didn't have fictional characters to torture and video game enemies to shoot, who knows how I would work out my frustration? :P

.) Sorry to necro
.) The prosecution didn't strike me as professional. Given how many innocent people have been executed because the prosecutors tried them when they didn't have real evidence or due to prejudice, confidence that you have proof isn't enough. You have to have a lot more than what they had (at best it was circumstantial). Their behavior was also snide and not professional as per how lawyers should act (you shouldn't laugh at the guy giving arguments even if the case is ridiculous.)
.) Given that a.) mothers who accidentally kill their children are also given flak b.) that dysfunctional people often try to ignore problems in hope that it will just go away c.) that it is impossible to determine how she died it's wholly possible that Kaylee accidentally died, and that Casey a.) panicked and tried to cover it up in the hopes it would go away and b.) when she finally realized it wouldn't she figured that if she made up some story people would pity her rather than prosecute for child abuse and negligence
.) You need concrete proof, and it is worse to set a guilty man free than to convict an innocent man. The prosecution pushed for the death penalty when they lacked proof. if they exclusively tried the manslaughter they would have had a better case.
