You should make a list as to which territories belong to whom. ^_^

I'm slowly compiling a FAQ for Feral-verse. No, seriously. I'll add it to the list. -_-;;;

And I'm currious, how do they keep their borders in check? How do the ferals deal with each other if they want to cross? Is there any proper proceedure to follow? Look at me, asking about Feral politics... XP I'm such a dork...

Well, there's a core territory that each pack directly controls, and the the rest is pretty much open and free. It's the same way the USA has a limited area of territorial waters (3 miles, I believe) and the rest of the oceans are international waters.

People (ferals and humans) can pretty much come and go as they please in the free areas, as long as they don't do anything stupid. As for entering the core areas, you ask permission of the pack in power, nicely, either by sending a message in advance or waiting to be confronted by a border patrol. High-level ferals can usually sense when people enter their core terriority, so sneaking in is very difficult and NOT recommended. It can get the sneaker eaten or killed in very nasty ways.

The high-level Cetra ferals (Zack, Aeris, Cid, etc.) pretty much enter each other's territory freely -- after all, they were close friends and still are. Rufus might be a bit more touchy about people entering his core territory (that's partially just his own personality), but he probably won't make that big of a fuss about the high-level ferals occasionally drop in, although advance notice is recommended.

Basically, everyone minds their own business and if there are problems, much better to work it out than get into a fight about it. High-level ferals are seriously powerful and can do extreme amounts of damage to both people and the environment if they get into a serious tussle (e.g., Sephiroth and Cloud tearing up Midgar in AC).
