Yet another update on the LJ "strikethrough" fiasco
Yet another update from LJ (and their parent company Six Apart) on the attempted cleanup of the recent incredibly stupid and incompetent purge

http://news.livejournal.com/99650.html

In my response to my comment (i.e., "give me specifics of what the hell happened and who's responsible!"), someone posted a link providing background information regarding the screwup and some possible answers to my questions.

My comment: http://news.livejournal.com/99650.html?thread=50738242#t50738242

So basically it was a question of money, rather than actual morality. At the very least the Wfi people were making noise about talking to advertisers, which also hits at SixApart's potential earnings. It's the same with network TV; the execs might ignore a show's questionable content but the minute the almighty advertising dollar is threatened, they pay attention.

Ick. "I'm sorry you were so unreasonable" is not an apology. And this "clarify interests" thing is stupid. He seems to think we're idiots or something.

LMAO. You know, I figured it was only a matter of time until someone in LJ screwed the company over.

Myspace gets tons of bad publicity thanks to Dateline and their ilk, I believe it's only fair that LJ, which tends to not try at all to protect their 'ittle children gets a taste of bad publicity.

This, my friends, is what the big time is like. xD

On an unrelated/related (depending upon how you look at it) note, I am suddenly rather happy to not own an LJ account, for all the ranting I would be doing right now if my account was one that happened to somehow get banned in all the confusion. xD

I'm sorry to bother you, but I've read your fiction 'Der Schwarze Traum' and became too early engrossed in it..
unfortunately, I've found only two chapters
Could you, please, tell me whether you have the continuation or not. I loved the idea from the beginning - original and bold. It's kind of sad to drop such a promising story, so I hoped you could ease my mind.
